~* Down to 2 week appts *~

Well Im down to 2 week appts now, I cant believe how fast time is flying, in fact I have to complete my pre-registration at the hospital in early Dec! Everything seems to be flying by!!
We were at the doctor on Nov 17th, everything is checking out to be just fine thankfully.

The babies are 1lb9oz and 1lb10oz ... so far so good, everything is holding up.

I will be having ultrasounds now every 2 weeks ... and after the New Year I will be there every week!!

Im pretty convinced time is just going to fly by now!! It's hard to believe we can be holding our babies in about 10-12 weeks time!

~* Still not 100% *~

I havent posted in a while, mainly because Im still sad and trying to find ways to feel a little happy. On Nov 13th we put our doggie down, I have had him for over 15 yrs, since I was 16 yrs old .. so he was definately a part of the family ... it broke my heart!! (and Ben's too)

My mom and I went to Michigan on our girls weekend shopping trip and Ben took him in..

It still brings tears to my eyes to think about it ... hopefully it'll get easier in time ... I know it was for the best, but it's still hard. He was old, and sick even though he still acted like a puppy (very upbeat)

~* Ben finally felt the babies!! *~

We were laying in bed the other night watching tv and I had my hands resting on my belly and kick! My belly moved! I grabbed Ben's hand quickly and he felt them move!! It was so cool, Baby B kicked his hand and he totally felt it! What an awesome feeling!! :)

What a busy weekend!!

We had an AWESOME shower this weekend thrown for us by my mom and my mother in law.

We were very fortunate and thrilled!! - my gosh my babies are already spoiled ROTTEN - 2 high chairs, pack n plays, swings, rainforest jumperoo .. we literally only have to buy a handful of things and we're DONE!!!- i feel so fortunate .. and we had a great time, sadly no one took pictures with my camera so i'll have to wait and see if anyone took pictures ..

~* OB appt with Dr Snider *~

Well we had our check up yesterday .. and got our results back from the anatomy scan.
All is fine!!!! Both babies checked out healthy with no abnormalities seen, what a relief!!

They are growing right on track, one day apart .. so that's a big relief as well ...

Dr Snider let us listen to both heartbeats, they were kicking away in there, we could hear them on the doppler, but I didnt feel a thing ..

Baby A of course was stubborn as per usual .. and it took a while to hear the heartbeat, he/she kept moving away from the doppler! Must be Ben's baby! lol

Anyhow, all is well, my next appt is Nov 17 with Dr Natale and we get another ultrasound!!

~* Finally Feeling the babies!! *~

For the past few weeks I've felt what has been little flicks on and off, but last night I REALLY noticed that the babies were kicking me .. FINALLY!!

We are 22 weeks as of yesterday and I have an anterior placenta, so therefore it's covering up most of my belly. I can really only feel the babies when they kick outside of that.

So Baby A has been kicking me down low near my right hip, and Baby B is kicking me up high on the left near my ribs!

Last night I was laying on my left side on my way to sleep and I kept feeling Baby B .. it was sooo cool! Kind of like, get off me mom, you're crushing me! lol

Baby A then chimed in and kicked me a few times as well ..

I think I feel them more when Im still and concentrating ...

This morning Ben woke up for work around 7am .. and I wanted to sleep more. But Baby B was kicking me again on the left side. Ben says that someone is on his side already telling me to "Get up Mom!" lol

I love it!!!!!!
