~* Last OB Appt *~

Well today was our very last ultrasound and OB appt ...

The good news is, we are already 2cms dilated and 80% effaced, so Im hoping that's a good sign and an induction wont be too terrible ...

The bad news is ... well .. the pregnancy is over now ...

I did bring my camera today to my last ultrasound and I recorded the heartbeats so I'll have that as a keepsake ... :)

Only a day or 2 left now .... it's coming up quick!

~* Feeling a little down *~

So Im just about at the end of my pregnancy, I have an induction date scheduled and it's coming up very soon ...

On most pregnancy threads Ive been a part of and/or read, the girls cant wait to have their babies, start labour, are trying to get it all over with by doing various things to meet their babies (totally understand) ... and here I am wishing I had a little more time with them inside ...

I have to admit, I feel kind of sad that this is coming to an end ...I cant help but think that Im the only weird one around who still "wants" to be pregnant... (maybe because I know this will likely be our one and only time)

I've been very lucky and had a great pregnancy, (no morning sickness etc) .. no major complications or hiccups ... but the big thing is I'll miss feeling my babies inside .. it's like a special bond we share ... now that I've been on mat leave for a few weeks I lay in bed with them in the morning just loving feeling them kick me ... when I talk to them they kick more and I cant get enough!!

Anyhow, Im only rambling, Im just wondering if any of you preggo ladies actually dont want their pregnancies to end just yet?!?I just think Im really going to miss it .. while Im very excited to meet them, I love the time we share now ....

~* Week 36 *~

First off, here is my 36 week picture ... sans makeup so not so beautiful but hey ... here it is anyways!

We have finally got the furniture for the nursery!! What a long week! My mom was over and helped Ben and I set it all up .. she's a livesaver!!!

~* 35 week appt *~

Well, I guess I was lucky for long enough .. lol

I went for my regular check up today and they were NOT happy with my blood pressure ...
so Ben and I ended up staying at the hospital for 7 hrs or so while I was being monitored and my bloodwork checked before I could go home ... fun stuff!!

Luckily I was released, however I dont think I will get so lucky if it happens again next week ..

The babies are doing great, both passed their BPP again .. 8 out of 8!
So far so good, the doctor thinks Im going to do well, I hope so!!!
