~* 16 week scare *~

Okay so far this pregnancy has been uneventful ... we had some bleeding at 7 weeks, which turned out to be a cyst ... thankfully nothing serious ...

Sunday we were at Walmart and just walked into BRU ... I had to go to the bathroom (as per normal) .. and went straight there.

I go in, wipe, red SPOTTING!! of course .. blood = bad in my eyes ...

So I came out, grabbed Ben's hand and off to the ER we went ...

After waiting there for 5 hrs .. having a urine test and bloodwork done .. the results came back and the b/w was normal .. urine was slightly off indicating a mild UTI (for which I have antibotics for)

The ER ultrasounds are HORRIBLE ... the quality sucks ... but we did see two little monkeys on the screen with their hearts beating away ... one was moving quite a bit .. that eased my mind a little however they have no idea what caused the bleeding. (ER doc said maybe uterus stretching or I overdid it?!)

Either way Im to call my OB this morning and see what he says ... (let's hope the wacko nurse calls me back!)

Welcome to the beginning of constant worry ... *sigh* let's hope all turns out for the best ...

It's true what they say .. you never really are safe from complications until the babies are born and in your arms ...
